As usual, I join Dan and his family for dinner at the Spring on every Saturday. Yesterday we went to Manhattan Fish Market and happy to found out that they are having promotion on the fish & chips! We get extra piece of fish for every fish & chips we ordered and everyone is so full after the meal. We even got a free ice lemon tea (bottom less) and a free mushroom soup! It's one enjoyable night with a lot of freebies ;) Pssst, there's a secret to share! Long long time ago, I went to Manhattan Fish Market for dinner with a friend of mine and guess who saw me there? It's Dan! That time we don't know each other yet and we're perfectly stranger for each other. Only after we get together Dan told me that actually he saw me at Manhattan Fish Market ages ago and he still remember which table I'm sitting at. Both of us really amaze of how fate bring us together, just like a movie scene isn't it? And last night, we're sitting at another table recalling how he saw me from another table. I'm simply touched, guess how many people walk pass us by and we never really notice them, sometimes we don't even have the chance to meet them for the second time! I'm really glad that me and Dan's fate are so strong :)
After the dinner, we were standing outside Habib Jewel waiting for the others to catch us up. I was reading at the Habib Jewel's promotion banner as they stated they are now having diamond fest from 1st April - 3rd May and I was talking to myself : " Ow tomorrow will be the last day." Dan overheard me and drag me into the shop to check out the diamond for fun. Dan asked me to choose the diamond ring I want for our engagement but I was not keen because I always told him that he should be the one to choose for me I'm not going to choose my ring for myself! When I was looking at some diamond ring, Dan asked the promoter to get him 0.5 Carat Diamond with ring and I was freak out. 0.5 Carat ??! I'm holding a 0.2 Carat diamond ring on my hand and it's sparkling enough for me! Well sorry that I judge diamond by it's sparkling because I know nothing bout 4Cs all I know diamond is another sparkling thing for me beside stars. Dan picked one of the six o.5 Carat diamond ring and he asked mum for her opinion, surprisingly Belle and Ann said it's nice. Well I can't deny that he've got good taste :P After a long diamond viewing and checking session by Belle (she's pro!). Dan picked the best colour and clarity 0.5 Carat ring and put it on my finger. At the same time, he whispered at my ear : "baby would you marry me." I'm speechless couldn't spit the YES word from my mouth all I can do is knoding my head. Everyone is smiling especially Belle cause the ring is really stunning. I feel like I'm dreaming and this is not real, everything is simply beautiful. The ring worth RM8,800 before discount and I was thinking how many flash and different type of lenses I can buy with that sum of money. Dan was worried his credit card cannot go through and everyone start offer their credit card to him, I'm touched again.
On our way back, I'm still blur and asked Dan : " baby am I dreaming?" and he said NO then I asked again: "baby is it real?" and he replied me again YES. I think I'm a little bit confuse after NO and YES so I asked : " baby can you pinch me?" GOD knows how hard Dan pinched on my hand I can really feel the pain! And I shouted : " Okayyyyy I'm not dreaming now!" Both of us ended up laughing and smiling like a nut by our silly act. In this moment, we felt how much we love each other and how much we wanna stay next to each other for the rest of our life!
And the conclusion, I'm going to ENGAGE!
